Dentist Visit

The boys went to the dentist last week. Matthew's been going to the same place since before he turned one so it's no big deal for him. This was only Sam's second visit and he didn't like it. In fact, they weren't able to do much in the way of cleaning this time because (big surprise) he wouldn't cooperate. He did get a new toothbrush and can now use big kid toothpaste, so he was happy about that. FYI, Matthew is wearing the sunglasses because the light they use was just too bright for his eyes. :) He must not be the only one to complain about it because they have those sunglasses ready to go.

Halloween

Here are some pictures from our night of trick-or-treating. Sam had so much fun and he and Norm stayed out almost the whole night gathering candy. Matthew however, couldn't believe that we would make him walk AND carry his candy bag, especially when he was thirsty, so he decided to quit after only about 10 houses. I took him home and he asked to do a reading lesson. I told him he was probably the only kid in America who would rather do a reading lesson than go trick-or-treating. In the end, he may have had a master plan. When Sam got back with all the candy, Matthew conned him into sharing some with him. So, in typical Matthew fashion, he got what he wanted with minimal effort exerted.
