Black Pine Animal Park

We recently visited Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, in Albion, Indiana. They provide a home for rescued and retired exotic animals. I had been there about 10 years ago when it was housed in the owners backyard!! They have since moved and now have a large facility with lots of room for the animals. The park is home to a black bear, leopards, bengal tigers, lions, bobcats, cougars, chimpanzees, donkey, camels, kinkajous, several ostrich, lots of gross reptiles, and many exotic birds. The kids had so much fun. Matthew was there once before, but he is very interested in animals and loves learning all about them so he especially enjoyed the day.

Welcome to Black Pine!

The boys are feeding a goat some oyster crackers.

This guy really knew how to smile for the camera! :)

It takes one to know one! (And I mean that very lovingly, of course. :))

This dude was BIG and UGLY! Matthew thought he was "so cute"!

Even Caleb managed to have fun!
